When you think of dominant regions in esports, there are a few that instantly come to mind: Korea, Denmark, China.
But while some of the wealthiest nations in the world jockeyed for power, another country was hard at work, trying to grow.
Brazilian FPS players took matters into their own hands, and with almost no money or support, created one of the most passionate communities and some of the greatest players the world has ever seen. From CS:GO to Rainbow Six: Siege, Brazil is everywhere.
The rise of Brazil is one of the most incredible stories in esports – they did it all on their own, and despite some ups and downs, they’re not done yet.
