I challenge you have faith in God, believe His promise and wait patiently for His salvation.
Patience is one of the strongest evidences of faith and peace and confidence are its immediate reward.
I know It would be so much easier to wait if we could see all that God is doing while we wait! But patiently waiting demonstrates your faith and confidence in God!
And at the right time He will reward your faith!

NO ONE LIKES TO WAIT, BUT WE ALL DO…
Are we learning the lessons waiting teaches?
Sometimes we wish we could, skip ahead, fast forward the bad or boring parts and get to the Good ones.
But TIME cannot be rushed with impatience or slowed with worry… SO WE WAIT!
If you are waiting for God to help you in your time of need do not lose hope.
“WAITING ON GOD IS PRODUCTIVE TIME – TIME WELL SPENT!”

A few lessons that waiting teaches;
LESSON #1 – We need to regularly STOP & WAIT for God’s Spirit to refresh us.
– Jesus often stopped everything, to intentionally Wait (speak with God)
Luke 5:16 “But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.”
– When young we Go, Go, Go all the time… I encourage you to learn to wait!
Isaiah 40:30-31 “Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
LESSON #2 – WAITING allows God’s plans TIME TO UNFOLD (be revealed)
If we patiently Wait, God will tell you whether what He gives us is either “SEED” (for planting) or “HARVEST” (for consumption).
James 5:7-8 “Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm”
LESSON #3 – While we wait… God is still working!
Exodus 14:13 “Do not be afraid, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD”
– IN MANY PLACES the scripture tell us to stop and let God fight for us.
1 Samuel 12:16 “Now then, stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!
2 Chronicles 20:15 He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
– Waiting demonstrates your (faith) confidence in God!
Hebrews 11:6 “Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
– WAITING IS AN ACTION… It places your hope on God who is able.
Psalm 25:3 (NIV) No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame
(NASV) Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed
IF YOU ARE STILL WAITING, I encourage you to continue – for God is at work while you Wait!
Lamentations 3:26 “It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.”
Galatians 6:9 “Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.”
