Russia Vows To Target US Patriots, Ukraine “Downs 13 Drones Over Kyiv”, Wagner “Breach” In Bakhmut

Ukraine’s air defence forces claim to have downed all 13 drones that attacked Kyiv, damaging 5 buildings. Reports say the Wagner Group has breached Ukrainian lines to take control of eastern Bakhmut. Russia says Ukraine has fired over 700 HIMARS rockets into the residential areas of Donbas since NATO started supplying arms to Kyiv. The Russian defence ministry has released a video of Yars ICBM on a silo launcher, which it says is “12 times greater than the US bomb that destroyed Hiroshima”.

Meanwhile, a senior military official says UK commando forces were deployed in Ukraine on “high-risk and discreet operations” in January and April. A Russian official says Putin’s State of the Nation Address is likely to be arranged in 2023.
