A Local Car Dealership Relentless At Giving Back
All American Ford, with less than a month into the new year, selects yet another give-back initiative and cause to support – this time, a youth multi-media company in Old Bridge New Jersey.
KiDz HuB recently received a News Van donation from, Pix11 News in New York City. The Ford 350 broadcast van, was towed to All American Ford for some repairs, before going out on the road for KiDz HuB Community News and outside broadcasts. When all American Ford heard about the project, they immediately jump aboard to help.
“Let’s get it to our commercial service department and see what we need to do to get you guys on the road,” said Mr. Joseph Pedi, General Sales Manager at All American Ford as he shared with junior broadcasters, Roland Dillon and Ace Card, some of the other initiatives that American Ford gets involved in. “We are all about the communities and families” he continued.
Pix11 Reporter, Nicole Johnson called the KiDz HuB office in December to share the good news of the PIX11’s amazing holiday gift of a news van for KiDz HuB Junior Junior Broadcasters.
Executive Director of KiDz HuB expressed his gratitude, ”We cannot express just how significant this donation is, especially as it aligns with our plans for 2020. The donation will help our multimedia youth journalists continue to tell stories pertinent to youth and families in New Jersey, the USA and across the globe.”
KiDz HuB is headquartered in Old Bridge NJ, and is seeking media partnerships with multiple media outlets to expand it’s platform for amplifying the voices of youth.
Almost 10 years ago, KiDz HuB Media Network was launched, with a mission to give kids, tweens, and teens an opportunity to develop a range of media skills that would help them understand and use media effectively. It is their goal to grow the mission and to continue to provide a platform for training and for youth to share their voices on a global stage.
Through KiDz HuB, thousands of kids in the United States and across the globe that we have trained in media. Junior Broadcasters have been working on camera and behind the scenes, to cover a range of events. They work collaboratively to shoot, edit and create written stories, audio/radio features, and video/TV packages.
As they seek expand the KiDz HuB media training opportunity to more students in the New York Tri-State area and to cover more events, they are, grateful for a news van donation from Pix11 and for the new partnership with All American Ford.
“Partnerships like these will enable us to be in more places, produce and tell more stories, increase the quality of our training – for me my fellow Junior Broadcasters. It will raise the level of our youth coverage,” said Roland, who it also the Vice President of the Junior Advisory Board.”
“This vehicle, wrapped, will also help in raising awareness of our mission – To Give Youth A Global Voice.” He continued.
