The Future Of Marketing
Facebook reported that about 30 billion messages per month are being sent between customers and businesses and we’re seeing 80% of those messages are going unanswered, and those that are answered many go for several hours at best
When a customer messages a business they do so because they are more that likely looking for an immediate response. Imagine how powerful it would be that someone messages you and they got that immediate response. They could be messaging a business for opening hours, or their menu or information on their products or simply directions. Getting that reaction on the spot could be the difference between getting clients or missing the deal completely and that business slipping away to a competitor..
In a recent survey 56% of consumers would rather do business with a company they could message. 90% of customers agree they would rather do business with the company that responds to their message first. If a person messages a couple of Italian restaurants in the area for directions or a menu and one of them responds to that message instantly with that specific information, guess where the business flows.
Don’t forget, we are now seeing well over 50% of internet engagement happens on mobile devices. People use their phone while they are out and about, going about their daily business. If they need a tire, feel hungry or need a haircut they’ll do it on the move on their phones, and most of the time they will do it on a platform they feel comfortable in and that’s Facebook.
Same as responding to ads, most people today respond on the platform they are in and Facebook has a messaging and lead generating system already being used. Now I said lead generating system. Did you know you can build a subscriber list using Messenger Marketing? Did you also know you can engage with your subscribers on a platform with open rates higher than 90%?
